Plastic Case Catalogue 2010/2011
OKW Odenwälder Kunststoffwerke Gehäusesysteme GmbH
The latest 2010/2011 issue of the plastic case catalogue is now available from Odenwälder Kunststoffwerke Gehäusesysteme GmbH. As can be expected from OKW, this 132-page anthology is subdivided according to the relevant applications for the standard products: mobile, wall-mounted, table-top, desk and electronic case ranges. The catalogue once more shows the know-how and the many years of experience of the manufacturer in the field of the production of high-quality, design-oriented plastic parts.
All new products and product enhancements since the last issue have been integrated, for example the UNITEC range of desk cases. This is characterised by two operating panels with different inclinations at right angles to each other, thus allowing simultaneous applications. The second new product, the INTERFACE-TERMINAL, meets all of the requirements for a modern man-machine interface. The unique variety of applications, as a mobile, desk or wall-mounted case as well as variable orientation (vertical or horizontal operating panel), are the outstanding characteristics of the INTERFACE-TERMINAL. In addition, the OKW catalogue has been supplemented with many different product enhancements, for example the MINITEC EL/DL, the DIN rails cases RAILTEC B and C in a width for 12 modules and individual configuration, new rectangular and square versions of the ART-CASE range as well as diverse accessories.
For each type of case the catalogue contains instructive product photos, information about the most important advantages of the products as well as recommendations about the respective fields of application. The relevant information on the PCB size and the recessed control panel serve as aids to orientation for selecting the right case. The many different options for customer-specific finishes for the standard products are described in detail in the appendix to the catalogue. The options on offer range from printing and painting, special versions in material and colour, processing and assembly to the production of graphic overlays and membrane keyboards, EMC coatings, sales packaging, customer-defined shapes and tool inserts etc.
The pdf files of the individual product groups have already been updated and are ready to be downloaded from the OKW website at www.okw.com. Further details are available there, for example 2-D or 3-D models, after you have registered yourself or on request.
