COMPAMED 2008 TO PRESENT LATEST MEDICAL MANUFACTURING SOLUTIONS

COMPAMED 2008, International Trade Fair - High Tech Solutions for Medical Technology, will take place from November 19 – 21, 2008 at the fairgrounds in Düsseldorf, Germany. An expected 450 exhibitors from 30 countries will present a comprehensive spectrum of high tech solutions for use in the medical technology industry – from new materials, components, preliminary products, packaging and services to complex micro systems and complete contract manufacturing. COMPAMED 2008 will be held concurrently with MEDICA 2008, the world’s largest medical trade fair (November 19 – 22), and through the through the synergies with MEDICA, COMPAMED provides an important stimulus for innovation in the medical industry. This is where the leading manufacturers (MEDICA exhibitors) meet the leading suppliers (COMPAMED exhibitors). The target audience of COMPAMED includes production managers, heads of research and development and anyone involved in the planning of medical products manufacturing. At the last staging in 2007, almost 13,000 of the 137,000 professional visitors at MEDICA and COMPAMED were interested in the COMPAMED exhibits.
The exhibit categories at COMPAMED 2008 will include parts, modules and components; drive systems; tubes; filters; pumps; valves; equipment and technology for manufacturing medical devices; raw materials; adhesives; processing and treatment; as well as testing systems and packaging.
A new feature at COMPAMED will be the U.S. Pavilion, organized by Messe Düsseldorf North America. This U.S. group exhibit provides a cost-effective means for companies to enter into or to expand their business in the lucrative overseas marketplace.
The COMPAMED 2008 exhibits will be complemented by the “High-tech for Medical Devices” Forum, organized by The Professional Association for Microtechnology (IVAM). As part of the forum and at no extra cost, suppliers will have the opportunity to present their product solutions in a technical lecture. Parallel to this, IVAM will have a group stand with products dedicated to manufacturing, microtechnology, nanomedicine and new materials.
