Crinkly plastic bag or sterile catheter - both of them are made out of synthetics. Whoever takes a glance at the modern world will see plastic products everywhere. Polymers and monomers are of special interest for medical technology.

That is why COMPAMED.de's new Special is concerned with "Plastics".

Two million tons electronic waste alone in Germany. When computers, mobile phones or TVs are ready to be thrown away there is not much to do with it anymore. However, an institute has developed a method how to recycle plastics from these wastes.
